Brunswick's Amtrak Downeaster's Inaugural Arrival! Nov 1, 2012

This historic event was a long time coming but even hurricane Sandy couldn't keep it from happening!  

A festive atmosphere was being put together 

 

 And the high school's marching band was rockin!

And then we heard the whistle!!  

The much anticipated moment had arrived with the The Amtrak Downeaster rounding the corner to the cheers of hundreds of happy people!!

Many special guests were on the train to celebrate this day!  

This will now be a regular site here in Brunswick!

A welcome reception followed at The Inn At Brunswick Station with Miss Maine's Molly Bouchard stopping in to say Hi!

Another great day for a photo shoot!  The sun was shining and for October...it was downright balmy!  Rachel & I found some beautiful shots to feature her quiet personality.  She has a rocker side though and is a very talented singer & songwriter as well as playing guitar & piano!

Magda & Gabe's Day At The Beach

September 9, 2012 started out with warm winds (okay it was downright blustery!) greeting me as I waited excitedly at Thomas Point Beach for a fabulous twosome to join me.  We were getting together for a maternity session to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a sweet little girl in two more weeks.  The people joining me weren't the typical couple you'd expect for this kind of shoot.  We were having a Mom & Son day before little sister arrived :)

We spent our day looking at horseshoe crabs and playing with hermit crabs too!  

 In true Maine style, we looked upon the men clamming in the mud at low tide while Gabe chased seagulls and built sand castles with moats!

We found a quiet spot to read a story

     Its a day I'll remember and cherish...I think they will too :)
